Moving Images

We’ve put up a new animation on the front page of the website…finally!! I’m just not to sure about the bottle in there, what do you think? I’ve already advised the web mistress to remove it. Greg mentioned it looked like the shadow side of perfume, yikes!
Roxana Illuminated Perfumeβ„’

  1. The animated idea is lovely. The black perfume bottle… well – it\’s a bit macabre, indeed. Gives more an idea of a witchcraft potion or a Gothic Perfume πŸ˜‰ Personally – I do like it, but you might have had a different intention for your perfumes πŸ˜‰

  2. Hi Aromax, yes I do have a different intention…although witch craft potion does interest me and I do like Goth. Both those themes are not quite right with the image I\’m crafting though. Funny when I created all the layers in Photoshop the bottle didn\’t look so dark.I\’m glad you like it. Thanks so much for the feedback!

  3. Dear RoxanaI have two comments to make. The dark bottle is indeed too dark and it just does not shine (contrary to what I would expect) and thus, it leaves me with an idea of a dark, thick juice inside. Like 10 % labdanum resionoid πŸ˜‰ Although this would be yummie! The second comment: I find the flash animation a touch to slow, respectively I missed the \”skip\” button. I personally find these \”skip\” buttons useful… But I am always on the run ;-)hmmm , just looked at it again: Now it was faster.

  4. Have you checked if you occasionally used different blending mode for the layer?Withcraft potions and Goths… charming and attractive. But your perfumes give different impression. More a kind of Fairy Godmother potion. πŸ˜‰ Your craft feels to me full of a kind of motherly energy (filled with love) – some one who cares, is relaxed and spontaneous and follows the nature.

  5. Andy, how lucky I am to get feedback from the Maestro himself!Dark, without shine are the perfect words…no illumination.Intending web-mistress will get to the fixes soon.No need for a skip button, just click on the right side bar of where you\’d like to go.:-)Just at the mention of Labdanum, I am swooning, one of my very favorites. Am blending with it now.
